No, it's not. Quality of life trumps all that and that is not exclusive to the United States. Yeah, it's a cultural melting pot, but nobody wanted leave their homeland to come here for fun. They came for the scrilla.Originally Posted by BEATSLIM

Then don't come here. Stay in your crappy home country. There are people who are willing to work hard when they come here. This country wasbuilt by people who emigrated from their home countries and worked hard.Originally Posted by ERASCISM

Living the good life doesn't mean working 60/hours a week, eating at chain restaurants, and driving gas guzzlers.

+@% like that is why foreigners don't like Americans. "Go to your country!" "Speak English!" America has no officiallanguage. We go to other countries and make no attempt to learn their language. We put military bases in other countries (modern day Imperialism).Originally Posted by r33p04s

Exactly. I honestly don't believe that there is one "best country" in the world. Going to Europe really opened my eyes about howothers view us. I could name a lot more countries that have a better quality of life but that's for another topic.Originally Posted by Fanatic15
And another thing (and this is my complaint about how some people view their own city as the best), at least experience other places before claiming it's the best in the world. I mean seriously.
I'm American if that matters.
