No, the less talking, the less chance of making a bad impression

and a less chance to make a good impression.

Before you start spending big money on her you two could go to a coffee shop so you two can talk and vibe with each other. From you coffee shop you can find out what she likes and what she doesn't like and you can plan the second date accordingly.

This approach works, gives you an idea of what type of person you're dealing with and to see if her head is on straight.

Or, if both of you have seen '500 Days of Summer' you can take her to that park bench scene in the city and have a little picnic there.

I've found pretty good success at each of those places.

I have asked like 10 times in the 500 days thread, what park is that?!?

It's Angels Knoll Park, off of 6th and Olive. A really nice place to have a picnic provided the weather is good. (which is 90% of the time in LA)

I personally love animals and stuff like that...

Took my ex to an aquarium on one of our first dates, she loved every second of it...

This part was too unreal...Sharks were RIGHT in front of the glass....

Take her to the crib and have her help u cook dinner. Watch a DVD. That gives u the best chance of smashing.

Most aquariums have glass walls where you can see sharks and stuff.

Pretty cool stuff.

the zoo is a good first date, because most zoos by the time you've walked the loop its 2 1/2 - 3hrs. they get to see cute animals, you get to check out herbody cuz the girl will lead the way. and just generally be excited. they love the penguins and what not,

SMH....high risk/ high reward...but you gotta be able to maintain what you started.

For me what I do on a 1st date depends on what city i'm in. If i'm in LA I'll take a chic to Manhattan Beach and walk and talk. If I'm inDallas then I'm going straight to Main Event and we're going bowling or playing laser tag.

I'm a little older, and now my 1st date is always a lunch date @ a mall near her job..Its less formal, doesnt count as an official date, and if i pay itsnot expensive because its @ a food court...
