I was born and raised in Mexico City and I basically keep an eye on everyone, play it like chess, and never have too loud of a mouth. You have to be able to bea hustler in any situation because it gets tough and sometimes one has to do bad things, but not because they're bad people, but because they'rehungry.

There was really no unity or code.
We just had a whole lot of diff circles.
But from experience I guess you can say that it is always best to be humble.
Stay with a humble attitude, dress humble when you in certain places,
and most def be humble in what you speak on.

- Do not make plans on moving out of your parents' house. As long as you're a "baller," even if you're nearly 30 years old, everything isalright.
- Don't "snitch" to the cops about a crime you witnessed, even if it can help get some hoodlums off the street to prevent them from committingthat offense again or committing any other offense. Your street cred is more important than the safety of your environment.
- Complain about one of your "baby mamas" not getting off your back about you not supporting your children, even though you really aren'tsupporting them.
- If you're in high school, you have to look cool by doing illegal things in school as well, just like when you're in the projects.
Do things like:
Smoke weed in the staircases.
Threaten someone by telling them they'll be getting "popped" after school for "talkin' all that smack" (make sure you pull yourphone out in front of their face when you make the call to let them know that you mean business).
If you just can't wait until after school, run into classrooms to fight the person who you're "beefing" with.
