Does your job/company pay for food?

Government work is not where it's at. :\
We don't get free ****. No bonuses. No OT. No birthday lunches unless it's sponsored by a coworker. No raises. No WATER COOLERS. Outrageous.

Only when we have vendors in or some type of meetings, other than free coffee and cappuccino it's get it how you live.

State jobs don't get no love :smh:

**** is not like how it is on TV. Plus that's a local govt job... State jobs work with a smaller budget so there is no room for fun. Ever.

have to pay for food where im at, but when docs come in they usually bring us food
Had a work trip to SF where we had a $75/day food stipend and all travel and hotel was paid for, thought that was pretty cool; def took advantage

Never had a gig that paid for lunch everyday. Had an internship at ABC/Disney and they had a cafeteria that was dirt cheap. Worked for the Dodgers, they had cheap lunches as well. On game days we would get meal vouchers, so food was free, but stadium food gets old really fast and it's terrible for you. I put up some lb's fast in that gig. :smh:

Current gig, we have lunch meetings a few times a month that are catered, so that's a free meal. I'm ok with brown bagging it though, or going out to get my own food. Free food isn't always good food.

If you work for a casino in my city they have a Employee Dining Room which is pretty much the overflow of the cooking for the Buffet.

We have a pantry where they keep a lot of different snacks and drinks. Pretty much anything you could possibly get a convenience store--you'd find in that pantry.

Also, we get free dinners (up to $50) if we stay in the office past 8pm. Included with the dinner comes the free black car service back home.

Cafeteria in the building serves $5 lunch Tues - Fri (entree, side, salad, dessert) and Mondays a truck comes with decent priced food.

Depending on whats served you can hold out til bout 2pm and theyll send out an email with stuff left and its free. Holidays get offered free meals, Free meals for your birthday, and monthly cakes, cookies, etc for birthdays of ppl that month. St Pattys day offered green beer around 2pm

I eat the same food as the inmates. Say what you will about jail food, but it is a well balanced meal and during a 17 hour tour it taste like it came from a five star restaurant.
