ever meet black folk that are racist against other black folk?

That always pisses me off when I meet self-hating African American's. Especially women. Unfortunately this has been inbreed in us in todays days and age. I literally meet girls who tell me they have no desire to date black men anymore SMH

That is why I find most "woe is me" racism threads on NT ironic.

I also have a friend who is of Mexican descent, parents are from Mexico, he knows Spanish and he hates other Mexicans with a passion.  Always calling 'em "your people" when he's around me,

It is what it is.

Prejudiced fam, the word you're looking for is "prejudiced".

Yeah, I didn't learn about this until college. I became really cool with a Dominican girl in one of my classes, and she really did not like Haitian people and black people in general. I'm Haitian, and she said she liked me because I was 'different' than others.
ohwell.gif
She straight up said her father would disown her if she came home with a black man. Both her and her pops were blacker than me, had hair just as kinky as mine, yet they thought they were better than me and other black folks. Sigh.

My ex-best friend (she's black) would never date a black man. Part of the reason why we're not friends.
laugh.gif
She would always make really disparaging remarks about black men, and how she could do better. Blah blah blah.

But Dominicans aren't black tho?

This is not true in my experience. I know a lot of people from the Caribbean who consider them black, but are not from Haiti or Trinidad.

You've never seen/met a black Dominican? I have. Some of my cousins are from DR, but still identify themselves as black.

Absolutely not

They are HISPANIC. They're darker complexion does not make them black. I'm undeniably African-American, yet I know quite a few Indians who are darker than me. I guess that makes them black too?
