Im calling it now, though. The SAINTS are going to win the Superbowl.

While we are making crazy/random claims, the NFC Championship game will be Cowboys vs. Cardinals.

I could see that happening. I picked the Cowboys and Chargers in the SB.

You root for the NY team regardless? Like if it were the Giants vs. the Chargers, you'd be rooting for the Giants?

only time i rooted for the giants is when they beat the pats...

a jets vs cowboys superbowl would unite new york.

Hell Yea ! I think its because the Jets and Giants don't play eachother at all so it makes it way easier. I don't let how obnoxious one NY teamsfanbase are to stop me from rooting for them

6-3, then-first place, Broncos team to capture lead in AFC West
The Giants in a must win on the road
The Bengals for second place in AFC
A resurgent Titans team on a short week on the road on Christmas Day
The Eagles

One loss was due to a last second goal line stop by the best linebacker of our era Ray Lewis.

The other two losses were beatdowns by the Steelers and Broncos (1st place AFC and 6-0 at the time)

It wasn't exactly a walk in the park.

Add me to that list, Ive been suffering since '93

I'm not too confident about this game. Phil Rivers is downright scary. But we have the best defense in the league giving up only 8 passing TD's allseason..In order to win this game we have to run because they will blitz and try to destroy the kid Sanchez..Run and play well on D (I know, Captain Obvious)and thats our only hope.. I'm hoping that Sanchez and Edwards can connect for points somewhere along the line but thats a frustrating situation in and ofitself..will Sanchez get picked/Edwards drop it or worse yet tip/fumble it ehhhhhhh.. I pray for a Jets win but this seems like the ultimate challenge of theyear for them..

amen. let's take a quick look at the jets schedule:
texans -- so so team
patriots -- you beat a tom brady who just came back, what gives? they murked you all the second time around
tennessee -- yawn
3 consecutive losses to the saints, dolphins (who we beat), and the BILLS
oakland -- no commentary needed
jags -- laughing stock at best
carolina -- delhomme was in the game, enough said
and then you went on to beat the second string colts
pimp.gif
and a beaten up cincy team twice
smokin.gif

jets are definitely winning the super bowl

Texans would have been in the playoffs instead of us, but we beat the Bengals to get in.
Patriots- that excuse was lame as #+!*.
Titans- they were 0-2 when we played them, wound up finishing strong
Saints/Dolphins/Bills- tough losses, but we held our own against the Saints, they scored on the defensive side of the ball, not offensive. Beat the Bills lateron in the season
Oakland- They suck, we know. Shutout them in fact.
Jags- Far from a laughing stock...
Panthers- Delhomme was in the game, yeah, but our QB was interception-friendly as well all season.
Colts- I'll say it again. FOR THE TIME PEYTON AND THE REST OF THE STARTERS WERE PLAYING, THEY COULD HAVE PUT UP MORE POINTS SINCE THEY WERETHAT GOOD OF A TEAM. Did they? NO.
Bengals- A "beaten up" Bengals team in the playoffs? #+!* that, they were healthy enough to win, we were just the better team.

Texans would have been in the playoffs instead of us
Exactly, so they're an average team like he said.
but we beat the Bengals practice squad to get in.
Fixed.
FOR THE TIME PEYTON AND THE REST OF THE STARTERS WERE PLAYING, THEY COULD HAVE PUT UP MORE POINTS SINCE THEY WERE THAT GOOD OF A TEAM. Did they? NO.
Are you serious with this?

...

Forget it. The Jets will prove why they are in over their head in 4 days.

Yeah, I am.

Were they not in for 2 quarters? That's plenty of time to put up points if you're Peyton Manning and co.

Seriously though, think about it. You aren't going to start your starters to go out on the field and stand around and not really try. You're startingthem for them to actually play, otherwise you would just rest them from the start.
