Active duty navy stationed in Hawaii. Milt life so far is great. Experienced things and been places I never would have if it wasnt for being in the milt. Relationship life sucks especially as female. A man who is flexible in his career understanding and loyal is hard to come by. I am ready to return stateside. I've done it all and I've only been here six months so I'm trying to leav early. Family and friends visit almost every other month so it's not too bad.

My line brother (my back actually) graduates from basic training on Friday. Dude lost CRAZY weight 
Proud of him though. Said he's going to be doing something in the medical field.
I was going to join this May, but it wouldn't fit in with my life's time line. Plus my recruiter told me it'd be best to finish law school first, then going JAG. Going to see how that works out

yeah Hawaii sucks, and the Samoans will really come at your neck out there. Plus I spent a week in the field there, and the cockroaches are HUGE

All the Artillery people I work with (Army mostly) are trying their damnedest to get to Korea, Japan, then they like to come back here (Fort Sill) to retire and get contractor/GS Instructor jobs. The cheating thing is kind of true, but America has a greater than 50% divorce rate anyways and I've seen nothing comparing that of MIlitary vs the general public to suggest it's anymore common although it would seem that way. But even when you aren't 10k miles away and see each other every day, people find ways to cheat and lie for yrs at a time.

Depends on rank, where you deployed to etc, not every base gets the same entitlements for example folks that go to Afghanistan recieve more than those who go to Africa, just because of the location/threat levels.. Bonuses also depend on the job and how undermanned/over worked they are. alot of Sensor Ops folks I know got huge bonuses(80k deployed tax free)

Active Duty Air Force. I've only been in for 4 months now but it's ok so far, I got my 1st duty station Germany, which I'm heading to next month. I have to say this though Tech School/ AIT love ain't no joke.

Active duty AF, been in four years. My schedule varies from week to week. I either have to be at work by 5:45 am or 1:45 pm depending on the shift. Basic training was simple enough to me. My days consist of work, and the gym. Beyond that my free time is my own. Currently at Langley AFB but I'm hoping to get a tour in Korea.

I'll tell you in a few months. I leave for Air Force basic training April 2nd. Got the job i wanted most on my list so i'm pretty hyped. Just wanna get basic training over with.

I hear basic is cake these days. TI's are basically handcuffed now.
