^Yep, that's Hot Red.

If you want them to "pop" more Hot Red is the option to choose, but Beet Red is more "true" to the OG.

These will be on there for quite a while, Nike is making a good deal of money off these.

Yup! 

  Thats why I went with Hot Red, instead of Beet.  
Stars can be found for like $2 at your local crafts store.  Came in a pack of 4.
