NT im booking my first cruise i need help.

So im booking my first cruise for my boys birthday thats in July and i dont know what cruise line is better. 
anyone have insight on what cruise company is better?

I only been to one so far and that was Carnival this past September...It was real fun..Just chilled and didn't have to worry about anything for 6 days

I've only been on royal carribean so i can say, that cruise was a lot of fun with shows, ice skating, a comedy show, a boardwalk, all types of dining including johnny rockets and a seafood shack,rock climbing zip line and a bunch of other stuff..

however my girl and her family have been on like every cruise and they said it like this

carnival is the lowest end but has the best entertainment

norwegian is like the mid but has the best food

royal carribean is the highest but.....is ok in terms of food and entertainment

If you're planning going to Europe, stay away from Costa. Took them on our honeymoon well before the two incidents this year and I will NEVER take them again!

I think carnival is the cheapest and the funnest. I've been on carnival and royal and gotta say carnival had more younger people and was funner with more fun at the shows and stuff. Royal was full of old people and felt more board. Been on like 4 cruises. My gf has been on 20 and she's 23.

i took 2 cruises from RC so far and both times it was on "freedom of the seas"

cruises is where it's at...

the staff will do anything to please you...

good food...good entertainment....

actually bout to book a cruise in a month or so for when i get back from afghanistan...

best way to chill out is on a cruise IMO

make sure you get to any shows early to get good seats and make sure said shows are reserved because sometimes they won't let you in and the salads at the salad place in central park are like drugs imo,hmmm....the casino reeks of smoke and sometimes you have to pass through to get to the dining room depending on where your seated,specialty foods such as johnny rockets and the seafood shack are charged separately and sometimes it can get a little crowded

I've been on Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Princess.

Royal Caribbean was great, food was alright but the ship (Independence of the Seas) was huge and there was always things to do, but not near what the Oasis is, I heard Oasis carries over 6000 people

Holland America is my favorite, food has always been the best (been on them 4x) ; entertainment with great shows every night.
Princess was terrible, food was bland, and entertainment and stuff to do on the ship was minimal.
