Best beer I’ve had in 2022. Green is my favorite IPA and this takes all those candied pineapple notes and turns it up to a million

I’ve been laying off the beer for a bit, but I live 20 minutes from Root+Branch now so I had to stop by for some cans:

This seems to be one of their most praised beers as of late and I now understand why. I’m not even the biggest Nelson fan but this is incredible. So much flavor and body for 6% without any of the astringent chalkiness you sometimes get in excessively hazy IPAs. Pretty close to a perfect NE IPA for my tastes.

Went to Troegs on Saturday for their event. You got to keep the liter stein that it came in. Delicious beer.

Lagers> IPAs for me right now. IPAs F me up for no good reason lately. Meanwhile I can sip on 130 proof whiskey all night
