Posted these the other day. When I first got started in sneaker collecting in 2000/2001, jewel swoosh AF1s in NYC were impossible to buy! I was basically 3-5 to late! Jewel swoosh AF1s are my absolute GRAILS!

Team USA World Cup AF1s. I had the Brazil’s and Mexico pairs, but gave them away to charity.

Something very recent! Rucker Park AF1s.

Had this been 2006/7 these would’ve sold for $800+ which is the equivalent of $2000 today in the sneaker market. Certain AF1s were very highly coveted back then. It’s weird that you can get this pair for $60 today... SMH

When I was in Grad School, the finally released this shoe and I was super excited to get them. The day of the release, I got the mall 3 hours before it opened to get these. I was literally the only one there in a huge mall in Miami. Nobody cared for these or was hype to get them.

Yea they're dip dyed in a grey and blue mix - dropping in the fall for my brand neverreadyny.com

They're supposed to represent indigo bleeding on your kicks like when you get a fresh pair of raw denim. They actually look more grey in person than this ice blue color. It's an entire capsule around a "denim shop" idea

I'm a fan of dip dyeing.

However whenever I see shoes done with this technique, I always feel they need a slight hit of another color somewhere. On this pair maybe something as subtle as painting the AIR and line on the midsole white. Or even painting the backtab where NIKE AIR is, white or something else. Just thinking outloud.
