Speaking of glitter .... my DS pair of bred 1s have been sitting out box for a couple days...just now getting glitter. They sat in the box for over a year...no glitter.

But all my other pairs that have been sitting out on the rack for years ....no glitter.

I really wish there was some consistency so we can figure this thing out. It seems like it's just random. No concrete prevention yet.

Just sold my 2011 banned 1s. I never felt sellers regret. I listed them thinking what the heck. I got 2 pair why not. Well they sold and it hit me. Haha. Just wanted to share with NT.

could have developed while in the box but only starting to show up now.

the inconsistency nevertheless is probably just the result of Nike's inconsistent manufacturing processes.

I can almost guarantee it’s whatever they spray on the black pleather is the cause. Now that may be that it’s not sprayed on all pairs.

I found a clean, worn pair (no heel drag or star loss, just some creasing) on ebay last year for $140. It was shortly before the off white abominations dropped.

One thing that disappointed me with the white laces on the Lakers SB is that they turned a slight pink. The lace hole have that red in it, so when you slide the lace through, it left some pink/red residue. So i imagine, after wearing it a bunch, the white is going to turn practically red at the lace hole area with all the movement thats going on.

Just something minor.
