I don't know about mad but they are comfortable
I would also give them a slight edge over og in comfort
I only have one pair(shadow)
They make great beaters that’s for sure
If you can find a pair for cheap I would cop them

I have several pairs of KOs as well as OG (traditional leather) 1s and as much as I love the KOs, I don’t think they’re more comfortable by any means. Would say they’re about even with OG 1s at best in terms of comfort. KOs don’t even have AIR tech in them.

I posted a shot in my Chicagos earlier this year in this board, that was probably the most awkward from a stance perspective, and got similar responses, so it has been something I have been purposely doing when shooting pics in my 1s. The reactions here have made it into my thing
And it's cool too, as it shows both wings, which looks better compared to the blank inside.
