Just a general question here regarding odor from shoes. I know everyone here collects, and some will store their shoes away, but for your regular rotations do you keep some sort of air freshener nearby to kill any smells?
Does anyone use an air purifier? Does that help?

I don’t use any deodorizer/air freshener, but as a rule of thumb I always air shoes out for a day or so after wearing them.

When I say air them out, all I do is put the shoes near a window/doorway that has a good breeze or cross-ventilation. That’s your best defense against any odor (which is just a sign of bacteria build up).

The temptation is to put the shoes back into the box as soon as you’re done wearing them, but I’ve been airing my shoes out after wears forever. Never had an issue with odor so far.

Same, I leave mine out a couple of days. It helps moisture evaporate before putting them back into their box.

On the subject of legit checks, have yall used the Check Check app? Just used out of curiosity and it said my Court Purple 1.0’s didn’t pass based on “Appearance” . Say it ain’t so.
