honestly, for me it all comes down to the user interface and i still prefer the apple os over android. other phones have better features or bigger screen/processor, but at the end of the day, for me its the interface that matters to me. and i think that goes for alot of other people as well. that chart represents alot of nice to haves, but not core necessities. at least for me.

1. who qualified the snapdragon processor better than the A4? you? hardly, try again - http://www.everythingicafe.com/a4-chip-beats-the-snapdragon/2010/04/05/
http://www.everythingicafe.com/a4-chip-beats-the-snapdragon/2010/04/05/2. this is a void argument considering how it comes with 440MB, everyone isnt going to go out and buy 64gb SD cards. and considering how 90% of HTC phone users have ipods, you still lose.

3. how is the iphones multitasking not true multitasking? it does multiple things at once... is that not MULTITASKING? #%$ does TRUE MULTITASKING even mean? thats some BS... next...

4. your screen is bigger, but we have more megapixels... you're driving a charger, we're driving a porche... we have the better performance out of our engine. who cares if you have a v8. you arent doing #+!% with it
smh.gif

5. a matter of opinion. you aren't pointing out facts... i dont know why im going on with this list reply but whatever, we're already halfway through so...

6. you do know that megapixels don't mean #+!% right? go buy a 18 mp point and shoot camera and then buy a 12mp DSLR... better yet, read the reviews of the Iphone 4 vs the EVO and see how much better our 5mp camera is than your 8mp camera. its just like with the screens. you're boasting bigger numbers, but horrible results with them. we have better resolution in our screen, and we are takin advantage of our megapixels in the camera. you just have 8megapixels with a horrible lens. cmon son, step your knowledge up.

7. what the hell does the rates and plans of the coverage provider have the do with the phones HARDWARE? when did HTC and Apple dictate how much you pay for service?

8. if you honestly think that this matters... lets get into it- you AREN'T using that much data with your little cell phone to require UNLIMITED data. Google search how much data 1 smart phone uses and return to this thread.

9. who the HELL uses the HDMI output on their phone? whens the last time you connected your phone to your HDTV? oh, ok then...

and to make #+!% easier for you, tally our blue boxes compared to yours. we won "da" battle.

5. HTC sense UI w/ android >> apple OS

6. 1.3 megapixel FRONT camera 8 megapixel BACK camera

7. CHEAPER PLAN on sprint

8. UNLIMITED data on sprint

9. HDMI output

once people get android superphones they don't miss da iphone....apple ain't impressing no one with that pathetic update except da stans and apple groupies who think

nothing exists first until apple uses it on da iphone.

no joke ninjahood, you try so hard to defend android
laugh.gif
you will never stop defending you extra fast nexus 1

1. engadget already did tests and it proved the A4 processor was faster than the snapdragon processor even though both are clocked in at 1 ghz

2. awesome you guys have more storage, but do you know anyone on android actually taking advantage of storage? i know many android users that dont even put music on their android phones because its too much of a hassle, with so much hate on itunes, people DO use it, because it WORKS, and yes ive heard of doubletwist, used it with my n1, it sucked

3. android doesnt even take advantage of multitasking, at best, you can take advantage of switching from your browser to your messaging app EXTRA fast, i have yet to see any app that uses multitasking to its true potential, facebook and twidroid sucked at sending notifications when they were in the background

4. Bigger screen, awsome, too bad you wont be able to finish the movie you want to watch because the evo battery dies out in 7.5 minutes, on top of that, the screen oversized, this is my opinion, the n1 is a much more practical size, even i would want a 3.7 inch like the n1

5. I guess iphone OS capturing 50% of the marketshare must mean that Android > iphone OS

6. MP means nothing, the droid/nexus1 had more MP than the 3Gs and the 3Gs still had a better camera, this is speaking from personal experience, the droid takes 3.5 years for you to take a picture, and the n1 camera just isnt that good

7. Sprint sucks, period, why do you think apple went to AT&T after Verizon, on top of that, AT&T's 3G network is faster than Sprint's 4G with a report recently, oh yeah, and EVEN YOU YOURSELF ninjahood says Sprint sucks and you would not go to them

8. AT&T's 3g > Sprint 4G

9. again, you wont be able to take advantage of HDMI to your HDTV or whatever since your phone will die out, and honestly, i would see myself using this once or twice in the first month, than thats about it

ninjahood just leave son. You stay in threads about stuff that's the complete opposite of what you supposedly like.
We talk about imports, you talk about American %!@*.

We talk iPhone, you talk Android basura.

At the end of the day, no one ever changes their mind because of you, but that doesn't stop you from bashin'.

Give it up already. WE DON'T BELIEVE YOU, YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE.

If that even.

Probably editing out the part where the phone wouldn't work.  I thought that was hilarious and the "try Verizon" quote was brilliant.

at that part, but they were on wifi so it was irrelevant. Still funny though.

Have any of you guys actually played with the iPhone 4?

I'm not saying I have, and I'm not saying that there aren't other phones on the market that can't beat it with stats, but when it comes down to it, if one prefers the iPhone to other phones even if the stats are not as great, who wins?

Neither of these companies are paying us to support their devices, and the fact of the matter is that the more competition means there will be better devices and services to come. They're here to work for our money....

true, but we make these threads to discuss and anticipate a product because of our interest in it. and theres always that one person (the obvious) that comes in on some "android is better than apple" type of +%$#.
none of us go in the HTC thread talking +%$# about their +%$#, its always them coming into our threads ruining everything
laugh.gif

at the end of the day there is no real "winner", but this time around, android and HTC has been beaten. point blank period. their best phone doesnt even match the iPhone in the most important thing of it all... talk time and battery life.

so really, iono what the "bashers" are going to do... because they are just eating their own +%$# until they have another phone to run around with.

*kanye shrug*

People replying with "OUR" Camera like you're working for the IPhone design Team?? You Fanboys are hilarious (both sides)

ohyeah and ninjahood. i still see you have nothing to say about the stats...

Ninjahood theres really no point in posting videos. the phones have been reviewed against each other. you are posting videos of the EVO when the 4HD wasnt around.

the EVO is not superior. if anything, the phones are on the same playing level now. the only difference is, the iPhone has a much better screen and camera...

Now please, tell me.. how the EVO is better than the Iphone?
I don't think people realize that the facetime ability is intergrated in with the call function. This has nothing to do with skype and qik apps using the cams. The Evo doesn't have that. From my understanding the EVO depends on 3rd party apps to use video chat. I am not knocking the EVO one bit, but that is awesome. I am really intersted in what is going on with tethering. Can you create a wifi signal and use facetime on that signal.

I think this is a solid phone. We all want the hype (lets face it Gizmodo took that away), people will focus on the flaws of the presentation, and then there are just some haters. But this device in its build and usefulness is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else. Also this phones tech put into the iPad 2G is going to be sick. I have a Nexus One as well by the way, so I am not being a fanboy.

I am getting this phone.

so HDMI output means nuffin?

so video calling on any network means nuffin? ( iphone can only do it on wifi)

4g means nuffin then?

4.3 inch screen don't mean nuffin either.? and don't gimme that iphone screen is superior, i got a nexus one with a smaller superior resolution screen too, that doesn't mean

all that real estate isn't any less impressive.

and how about da carriers...AT&T just dropped unlimited data, and they plans is more pricier then what sprint is offering its EVO 4g users...
