Its easy pretty much, wash it up with lukewarm water(pat dry) and apply a very thin layer of AD ointment for the first 3 days, then unscented lotion after.

shawnb86, you can go to Nando at twisted tattoo, on irving park and elston. he's pretty dope.
his style is somewhat similar to your left arm.
also, the most recent work I got was from Robin at Metamorph, in wicker park.

What are some nice tattoos that symbolize being strong/brave? I'm asking, because I'm planning on getting a short sleeve, on my right arm, dedicated to my Mom. I already have her name on my inner bicep, but it's nothing big. She's battling liver cancer and some other diseases, so this really means a lot to me.

I only have 2 tats but both of my artists stressed to me not to use A&D, Vaseline, neosporin etc.

I suggest you don't go back to any of those "artists"
A&D ointment is supposed to be used within the 1st week or so (2 make sure it doesn't get infected or anything)
THEN you use the non-scented lotion after that...
