R&B Thread About Nothing

So a while back I posted Eugene Wilde's "Gotta Get You Home Tonight".

Which was of course sampled by Foxy Brown and Blackstreet for "Gotta Get You Home".

What I never realized until now is the "aaaaye ay" from that song is from the joint below. 1:48 and 1:57.

Whole **** groovy though....

Y’all haven’t peeped that “new” Marvin album?

I know a bunch of these songs have already been released over the years from this “lost” album but they’ve all been compiled together as originally intended with some joints that were unfinished & subsequently mixed together for this.

Just to put things into perspective of what state of mind he was in creatively and how this album might sound... this album was originally recorded in 1972.
So in between What’s Going On (1971) & Lets Get It On (1973)

EDIT: Oh yeah, how could I forget... it’s also the same year he did Trouble Man (1972)

I wasn't sure what this album was so I was kinda hesitant to listen. I ain't know if it was something where they threw his voice on some random beats or what like they've done with MJ and Pac.

That sound good though
