Maybe I just get lucky but I almost always have no problem finding parking especially in brooklyn or queens.LMFAO at parking being easy in the Boroughs, unless you are paying A LOT of time is wasted looking for parking.

Not if you mis use your mommy's handicap card.

I like the random fights and ****, provides some entertainment.MTA is pretty dirty y'know how unsanitary it is, vermin like rats bugs, poles are dirty. Delays, possible arguments/fights, dependency. People look at you taking public transportation like youre cheap.
The pride and joy you feel hopping in your ride, if you can afford a nice benz, bmw, or droptop, coupe etc. You are more responsible and independent. Yes, costs add up, but if you think NY is more public transportation convenient, prolly live in those areas.
Car is better in certain parts of Queens and LI especially. You have more flexibility, choice. Cars are convenient for bigger families.
That snowstorm was a 9 hour delay3 hour commute because of an accident? Now you jumping on NT extremes, the only time it took me 3 hours to get from yankee stadium to my house was last year during that unpredicted snow storm that crippled the city, other than that no matter the accident, I’ve never been delayed more than 40 minutes at most from where I’ve needed to be....lord just the thought of having to commute by public transport to shoot a wedding in Long Island gives me anxiety..
good times.I go to other boroughs too. Qcm or fordham road or bay plaza more convenient with public transportation. And you can take a nap don’t need to concentrate on drivingonce again, you are speakingof commuting exclusively within the island, you ain’t going to queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Brooklyn or up into WestChester....google any commute where public transport would be quicker than a car outside the Island...I’ll wait.
aint funny if youre involvedI like the random fights and ****, provides some entertainment.
This is a dumb debate in the first place and all of this really depends on where you travel too, how much you travel, the expense you would have to pay to have a car etc etc..
Road rage a real thing too. Dudes get killed over petty **** while driving so that’s not exclusive to sitting in a train and having a random person start messing with youaint funny if youre involved
Exactly that **** is fun sometimes. And it’s funny when you see the same person making the same speech about needing the same exact amount of money to do something they needed to do two months ago, and it’s like damn ************ you need to change some numbers up or have 3-4 situationsI'm with Alp, going into the subway stations and watching performances, seeing homeless and subway artists verbal exchanges, it's a big part of the NYC experience imo

pretty much what I said earlier, you live and work within the island, you don’t go out much, you don’t care for anything outside of Manhattan, you are good with the trains.
nahh, not really if you got a bat defending yourself in a car or the situation is avoidable, drive off. Youre a bit protected in a car, better if bullet resistant, big SUV, etc.Road rage a real thing too. To get attacked for a completely unprovoked reason is highly unlikely in the subway, about as unlikely as a homeless dude taking a leak on your car while you’re at a red light. I mean it’s possible but it’s not happening that oftennahh, not really if you got a bat defending yourself in a car or the situation is avoidable, drive off. Youre a bit protected in a car, better if bullet resistant, big SUV, etc.
In trains, once those closing doors lock, you stuck with the situation until the next stop or hop on the next car hopefully not packed, or dealing with extra drama. Cant imagine people locked in the train with a gunman.
Only thing I think of dangerous for automobiles are accidents.
que??To get attacked for a completely unprovoked reason is highly unlikely in the subway, about as unlikely as a homeless dude taking a leak on your car while you’re at a red light. I mean it’s possible but it’s not happening that often
How did you get shamed by MIS use of mommy's handicap placard. Since you drive her everywhere you're now entitled to the same benefits when shes not in the car? Must be nice.Hey it aint my fault and I drive my mother everywhere, the nerve to try and shame me for taking care of mom...ya a special bunch.
I’ve never had issues with parking big enough that would make me second guess owning a car and I’ve dealt with my wife living in 157th and Gerard...literally a block away from Yankee Stadium....ya probably want to find parking literally in front of your door, but someo don’t mind walking 3-4 blocks to the nearest train station...STAY MAKING SENSE YALL.
