Many Jews go out for Chinese food on Christmas. The Chinese do not celebrate Christmas any more than we do, so most Chinese restaurants are open on Christmas. In Philadelphia and New York, there are several kosher-certified Chinese restaurants to choose from, so that even the most observant Jew can eat Chinese on Christmas. Thank you. Although both my Dad and Step-Dad are Catholic so I will be celebrating Christmas today. Better believe I have done the Chinese Restaurant andMovies thing before though.

Got a question for you guys too. My grandmother, who was the most religious person in my family, died about 3 years ago and since then my mom hasn't beenenthusiastic about Chanukah even to the extent of doing nothing for it this year other than putting out a Menorah. Any of you guys have the same thing happenat some point?
