the 7 day theory vs it was written vs reasonable doubt

All classics. gonna literally be preference of how you feeling that day on what you choose.

The 7 Day Theory for me. Personal preference. All are great albums though.

Can't see the vid clip cuz i'm at work but why wasnt Ready to Die included in this. Can't really talk about classic Pac, Jay and Nas albums without including Big's.

I think imma go with RD on this tho.

7 Day Theory. The while vibe of this album, especially with the timing of the release was something else.

those are all good songs and my fav from that album
BUT

Blasphemy he was dropping gems this whole song :x :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:
toss it up :pimp:
just like daddy :pimp:
krazy is just smooth :pimp:
white manz world :pimp: :pimp:
hold ya head :pimp:
against all odds :pimp:
i left out all the obvious bomb first
hail mary
and live and die in la
and of course me and my girlfriend just cause those are all obvious
but this album to ME is so cohesive
and cut down on filler
like every track was perfected
i dont feel that IWR had that.

i mean if i had to go song for song since there are a few songs that are similar like me and my girlfriend and i gave u power
and if i ruled the world is sorta like white manz world
makaveli would win every time
its pacs best album
now if it was me against the world vs iwr THEN i think it would be tough

i agree with this man include ready to die
there should be a poll with ready to die included in the poll

expectin a mass amount of hate on 7DT. some of yaw just aint built to feel pac like that.

7DT = RD. it was written was def a good album. dont think its on the level of trhe other 2 tho...

Makaveli 7 Day Theory, just the vibe of the abum itself is eerie. classic music too.

If you get a copy of iww with silent murder and the remix to street dreams than it gets a slight edge. Reasonable doubt kinda gets boring after can I live until bring it on.

This is impossible for me to pick. 7 Day Theory had so much anger and passion. IWW is probably my favorite NaS album. I can't pick.

3. RD

RD is the GOAT rap album of all time.

But the other two are also great albums.

For those asking about why OP didn't include Ready to Die, I'm pretty sure this thread is only for '96 albums.

Anyways for the topic, I'd go 7 Day Theory = IWW > RD. All 3 are fantastic albums and really only come down to preference. Hell on Earth is probably my favorite albums from that year tho. It's a shame only the cassette version of IWW has Silent Murder and they didnt include the Street Dreams Remix with R. Kelly either, 2 of his better songs from that era.

if you asked me at the end of 96

1. 7DT
2. IWW
3. J**** who?

Today:
1. RD
2. 7DT
3. IWW
