The complaint says the school has an enrollment of approximately 22,640, which matches Louisville's during the 2016-17 academic year, and that the school offers approximately 21 varsity sports teams, which is the number the Cardinals offer

The FBI claims that Gatto paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to the families of elite recruits to steer them toward Adidas schools, including Louisville, which is referenced as “Uni 6" in the documents as well. Several Louisville writers have deduced that the referenced transgression was a payment to five-star forward Brian Bowen, who, according to the document, flipped his commitment to Louisville after receiving a $100,000 payment set up by Gatto.

Always love when schools act like they are the last ones to find out this goes on in their football and hoops programs...


"We were surprised to learn this morning of potential actions against one of our assistant basketball coaches by federal officials," read a statement from Oklahoma State.

"We were shocked to learn this morning through news reports about the FBI investigation and arrests related to NCAA basketball programs, including the arrest of USC assistant coach Tony Bland," USC athletic director Lynn Swann said in a Tuesday statement.

“This morning’s news is shocking,” Auburn University said in a statement. “We are saddened, angry and disappointed......"

"We were surprised to learn this morning of potential actions against one of our assistant basketball coaches by federal officials," a representative from Oklahoma State University told CNBC. "We are reviewing and investigating the allegations."

Adidas said in a statement, "We are learning more about the situation. We're unaware of any misconduct and will fully cooperate with authorities to understand more."
