Heard it gobbles up batteries
Poor battery life and the Lynx was clunky as ****. It just couldn't compete with the Game Boy or even the Game Gear.
I picked up two GameCube games today for $2 each. Rarely find games for this system anymore in the thrift stores. No shortage of PS2 though, copped a slim version for $20 for my dad.
Look how massive the Lynx is!
I remember it looked massive compared to the gameboy. I actually wanted one of these but I guess it was a good thing I never got it.
One of my favorite Genesis games
It's not too late to get a Lynx.
August pick up- heard this was one of the best co-op experiences on the og xbox. Me and my imaginary friend are going to have a blast.
Also scooped a halo-branded xbox controller. Grabbed my og halo/halo 2 games I owned as a youngin’ off the shelf. Decided I’m going to play through these again
Do you have long term goals in terms of collecting?
Also, pics of collection?
That green o.g. x box controller. .
Been wanting to play shaolin monks read its different from all other mortal kombats
I remember this grey version of the Lynx.
Wanted it at one point. Even though the screen was so small, the graphics were so crisp!
Used to play the demo at a mall department store. Never knew anyone who had one.
Nah, that was when I was a kid. I’m not really a fan of handhelds now as an adult. Shoot, I try not to look at my cell when I’m out in daily life
I plan on keeping the NES/Genesis stuff longer (what I grew up with) but the other consoles and games will be handed down to my nephews since they like playing them so much. I’m picking these things up on the cheap now so they’ll never have to pay “collector” prices later.
I don’t have a collection pic but man that would be weird. A picture of a bunch of cartridges, cases and boxed systems. I don’t think there’s a way to make it look pretty
What retro game/s did you guys never get to play that you would buy the console to play it?
Must be from no older console than PS2.
Gotta think about this one for a bit.
Definitely cant name any game right now for a system older than the ps2 console but my answer is for the ps3..
I’d have to go with the TurboGraff 16 console. Bonks Adventures. I’d be cool with the mini version and call it a day.
Game was really good but what stopped it from being a masterpiece for me was that I felt I was watching more cutscenes than playing the game.
That's probably why I never played the game..
Except the damb mini only advertised Bonk 2
Great game but ya gotta have both for the proper Bonk experience.
