The Timepiece Thread vol: READ THE 1st POST!!!

I just purchased an AP 41mm Royal Oak with ice blue dial and baguette markers, white gold.

I can't find anything on the internet about it, and was wondering if anyone here might know more about the watch? I can't believe there's no info anywhere or any of the IG accounts I follow. AD suggested my piece is the first in the world, and the watch is engraved limited out of 100 pieces. But even more rare stuff like the 1/25 pieces are all on the website--even the newest releases. Cant understand why this one is non-existent anywhere. Don’t think I’ve ever even seen another AP with baguette indices.

I want to post a photo but waiting for AP to get back to me if it’s okay or not.

Anyone with the nekton seamaster?

I haven’t worn a watch in over 15 years, but I’m thinking about buying myself a Rolex for my 40th this year (I’m washed up lol). I had no idea buying a Rolex was like buying a Ferrari smh.

That’s what I want, but having a hard time with the $8k-$10k markup.

Prices should be In the teens

But could get your name on a list and you just might get lucky

tbh, jumping out there for a GMT after not wearing a watch for 15 years may not be a good idea. if you have the means, go for it. but if you're not really into watches, you may regret the purchase. at least with Rolex, you have a good chance of making a profit or at least breaking even if you decide to sell.

My starting budget was $20k but for a GMT I’m shooting for closer to mid teens.

That’s what I thought but I got a lot of mixed up info. From waiting years to having to establish a relationship by buying other crap.

You can 1000% get one in the teens. Even a brand new one from a reputable seller. Don’t look at online large retailers those are mostly overpriced.

This is a dealer group on Facebook. I’d suggest you join for grey market.
