HA! memory IS ram

everyday use programs, minimal gaming
But I notice its sort of sluggish.

4GB should be enough. Although if your using a 32 bit OS the max you'll be able to use is 3.25GB's.
But a ram upgrade can only do so much if your cpu is weak. Mind posting your machine's specs?
