How are you guys individually comparing specific models? I thought this thread was about popularity and impact that the shoes have made.. You can't compare the technology difference between the 2.. Unless you compare the later Jordan models. That's like me comparing a car from the 80's-90's to a car now.

It's all about hype. When lebron got his ring, all his GR shoes that had a full size run sold out in less than a week. But honestly, Jordans will hold the crown for the most hyped shoes for a WHILE. But hey, you never know

Idk why dudes is talking bout technology when the shoes with the best technology have no popularity. It's all about design and the 7s,8s & prolly 10s are the only Lebrons that are even seeing Jordan.

I agree but LBJ's got 20 years of basketball technology advantage on Jordans. Zoom Air was used on the first six models of LBJ's, no way a outdated technology (Air) could compete. But on the topic of popularity J's cant be beat, they literially changed the way the world views the sneaker culture...

Well I'm not talking strictly from a performance perspective. There are Bron's that came out after the Lebron II, with better performance but I would not rank them higher overall. The II is a classic because it was rockable, good on court performer, and just has a timeless look to it. It has great attention to detail, like the laser engraving, which I believe was the first time Nike used it on a shoe if I'm not mistaken. It can surpass most of the Air Jordan line as far as being a classic sneaker. It might even become the AF1 of the 21st century.

Lebron is the greatest player to ever play basketball tho.

It takes a lot to win a championship with two other superstars. You have to put your ego aside for the greater good.

Dat focus. And the fact that they did it without a supporting cast and a horrible head coach makes it that much better.
