Thee Official LeBron James = Scottie Pippen and Dywane Wade = Michael Jordan for the 2011 Finals

but one thing jordan did do was make other players better.

After Jordan's first retirement following the 1992–93 season, Grant became the number-two star behind Pippen, and helped the Bulls push the Knicks to seven games in the second-round playoff series before being eliminated. Grant played in the 1994 NBA All-Star Game, posting four points and eight rebounds in 17 minutes. After posting career-bests in scoring (15.1 ppg), rebounding (11.0 rpg) and assists (3.4 apg)

In 1993–94 Bj Armstrong emerged as more of a leader in the wake of Michael Jordan's retirement, placing third on the team in scoring. He was voted a starter in the 1994 NBA All-Star Game, finished second in the NBA in three-point field goal percentage at .444 while leading the team to a 55–27 record and a second-round exit from the playoffs.

that kinda makes it look as if mj hindered their growths and careers, if once jordan retired players output and overall game improved, and when he returns they fall back down. How is that making players better? Pippens best seasons in his career as far as individual game play was when jordan was NOT there. If jordan never returned we cant say what kinda improvements pippen could have had. But we do know that his individual growth and improvement kinda halted when jordan made his return. Especially in the leadership/goto guy department.

and i love how u guys are getting at me for saying they lost in 7 in the ecf instead of the semifinals
as if the team that tied the 1976–77 Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the longest losing streak in any American professional team sport. and broke
the record for most consecutive losses in nba history could possibly be mention in the same breathe as a 55 win team who went 7 games
in the second round.

all u guys is derail threads with slight inaccuracies as if it made any kind of differences in the argument.

jordan couldnt even get them to .500.......second year? still under .500............third year? still under .500
and then...........
SWEPT BY THE CELTICS TWICE

and now for the DAGGER

HOW MANY TRIPLE DOUBLES DID JORDAN HAVE IN THE FINALS?

True. But, I found the cartoon halirous, I just had to comment. Melo does not play defense to save his life. At least Lebron is all over the place playing defense and doing an excellent job overall. Playing defense on a high level takes away from your offense especially in the finals when you are under pressure/stress.

It would be a hilarious/funny finals if it was the mavs/knicks. Melo getting 25+ 30 $%@ every night, while making jj/jet,marion look like showtime lakers. Marion would be out there looking like durant ah sometthing out there, and dirk wow he already is looking great, but amare/jeffries gaurding him
roll.gif
. But it would possibly the most offensive finals when probably would have seen.
