Harden got 2 All Defense Team votes, but neither were First Team votes. Voters definitely had a sense of humor with this troll.

I cant think of anymore players who are suspect

That means the voting is a pretty legit process

Its pretty ridiculous to invalid the process because of one selection you dont agree with

FYI - I'm not part of this whole Kobe debate, but this year's voters comprised of a panel of 123 writers and broadcasters from the US and Canada. 

Prior to this past season, voting was conducted by NBA head coaches, and coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
