Just adding two cents...the best solution to this problem is to do a few test shots and set you camera ISO and aperture such that your background is lit properly, then add flash to light the subject. Though some hot shoe flashes are better than others, any with a head that is adjustable is... -

Anybody heard anything about this "Grenade" fat burner at GNC. I tried a bottle of Oxylete and it was like magic, but this other stuff sounds interesting enough for me to consider before the re-up. -
