If you're not going to hold these street dudes to a higher standard then I don't want to hear any complaints.
Life is harder on them from the moment they're born.
Accept that and encourage them to develop the necessary resolve OR continue to make excuses for them that essentially absolve them of responsibility.

This is what it's all about someone there with them periodically showing them a way out, and telling them they can. But even that's not a enough at times.
To be real a lot of you dudes speaking on that video should be mute for #1 them dudes ain' the problem. That was a interview with some naive scrub wannabes. The real killers and dealers ain't doing no s**t like that. They do busy plotting and scheming in the streets to be catering to the ratings of some smug a** news station. #2 ain't non of you dudes knowing nothing about that life. People say why join a gang. I say move into one of these gang ridden neighbor hoods as a young kid with no one to back you up, and see what happens. You either join up and fight the opposition or you don't join up and have both sides on yo a**. When you live and go to school in a gang area that's pretty much your only options.
The only ones that meet the exception are those with repped fam in the gang, and in some cases having famb in a gang could make you a fa sure recruit. The ones that get bussed don't have to go to that school, and rarely go outside when there home so they straight.
Yall dudes talking ill on these lames need to stop. I'm sure a lot of you dudes wouldn't rise above either had you come up in a war zone with no one to shield you from the chaos. Don't be replying about how some of yous came up in a bad areas as well. Because there are bad areas and then there are Fing war zones. I'll be the first one to admit that it's pretty Fing hard to rise above and beyond when you stuck in a war zone from the time of you taking you first steps.
Basically these young dudes fell to the influence, and can't non of us talk ill on them for that. Because we just as guilty with are J's, designer clothes, and our designer cars. Then oversees cats ain't no different they speak ill on us for not appreciating our opportunity, but when they've been here for enough time they end up falling to the American influence as well. I've seen a few take advantage of there international connects to make a illegal dollar. When there whole intention was to live a honest American life till they fell to the influence of that illegal money.
It's way to many busters on this site trying to look down and pass judgment on peoples situations. Kind've makes me just want to come here to get release info and keep it moving

We need to start recognizing the power of minimal gains on the impact of larger initiatives.

You think Jewish kids just grow up learning only about the Holocaust? You think they keep feeling sorry for themselves? At some point or another, homework is due, projects need to be completed, goals need to be accomplished.
Dudes have to start achieving from within at SOME point.

that is the main problem and then u get these cats like the judge joe browns, etc the pastors... dudes who be like oh i lived in east la/chi town etc... when in reality they just had kinfolks there who they visited on family reunions and funerals or they grew up like u said being chartered etc...and try to portray like they so intouch/down... but real recognize and these cats str8 tune them out... or u get the occasional fake thug rapper who come flashy and dudes be missing the message cause they too focused on the glorified street life in their music/the bling/cars/women...
i remember growing up and having deion sanders come talk and im sitting there like come on dude miss me with this psa message u talking.. u running a club thats laundering dope money, u took bribs/boost in college... etc and u trying to tell me to stay in school do right and street life is bad etc..
i know ppl may call him fake not the best etc... but a cat like 2pac really resonated with the ppl. i wish more cats like the real rick ross was out there and talking to these kids... kody monster rip... etc...
when u have cats like tavis smiley, oprah and bill cosby etc trying to reach these cats ppl dont listen... they dont relate to them and visa versa and it shows. esp when it appears like its all smoking screens and looks like they doing it too give the illusion they care and know where they coming from.
