Ridiculous?

He ignored the cop because he was responding to the injured people in the crash. I don't think that's right, cops are just power hungry.

Damn even white people ain't got no pull nomore... How you got arrest the man for saving lives. Why in the living hell would a cop be needed at an accident? Besides to write a accident report, which could easily be done by a paramedic or fire Marshall.

The requirements for becoming a police officer are close to none, reason why they are so badly trained on how to simply handle situations and their own egos....on the other hand firemen get put through the ringer in the academy and know protocol....that cop is absolute idiot and should be at the very least suspended....they are there to work as a team, in a situation like this the cops job is simply to fascilitate that of the firemen and paramedics, nothing else

imagine if the person that the firefighter was attended too suffered further injuries due to the police arresting dude. :smh:

the cop definitely needs to be suspended though

Nah whats worse is the fact that the firefighter was released just 30min later from the police car. A complete waste of time and effort, uselessly spent on a matter while people's live were at stake. It's like the cop had a power fit and looked like an idiot at the end.

The cop was just doing his job. The fire fighter should've been more respectful to the cop. Cops are never wrong in situations like this.

Exactly.

i get the point of the cop telling him to move the vehicle but the firefighter is doing his and lives are on the line. i doubt any cop will arrest another cop for doing something 'criminal'. cop just had a chip on his shoulder or something

edit:

the fact that the firefighter was let in 30 mins is a clear example of cops just power tripping. they have too much authority and there is no body to check that power. his Sergent probably called to tell him to calm down.

Sarcasm right? The firefighter was helping treat two people who were injured and down. The truck was in the way but not to such a degree all traffic lanes were taken.

:smh:

That cop seems like the type to turn into more of an ashhole as a result of this, rather than learn from his mistake and calm down with his ego. Add to that he's probably getting roasted at work and can't take it and he will probably be going overboard on his power trip for a few weeks and will be writing tickets for the dumbest **** left and right.
