I’d much rather parents show up in a thot cap than not showing up at all. Gotta pick your battles. Principal looks like the holy type that’ll make you cuss her black *** out then she’s nothing but polite.

I live in a city in Cali that gets HOT in the summers. Hell, it was 80 degrees at 10AM yesterday
Wearing slides with no socks so my feet can breathe during the day in that weather>socks and shoes.
I'm not hooping in no damn sandals though

Sounds cool but in reality you have to go out of your way to step out the house wearing what’s listed. Don’t tell me you have absolutely nothing else but sleepwear. That’s disrespect more to your kid than anything else. If she asked for formal wear I could see that as a thing but no sleep and bath wear? Cmon

I seen something on Twitter that a mother got a call from the school because her son broke his arm and when she arrived they was holding her up because of the dress code policy. Wonder if it's the same place

I wear nike flyknits like this with no socks
Flipping flopping around in public is a no go for me. Couldn’t do it. Against my religion.

Eh some things are a bit much (ripped jeans & leggings) both can be done appropriately.
I don't have any issue with it much, I understand the message of be appropriate and not a distraction to the children but the first time they have to call them peoples to remove a parent from the property because they aren't in dress code is gonna be scrutinized
