With all the NYE partying I did in my 20’s, I legit have zero desire to do anything special for it these days. The wife tried to stay up but she crashed out and my kid told me to wake her up when it’s 12:00 AM. Oh well.

so working 330pm - 830am including my lunch
will be 16 hrs of straight time
anytime u work a holiday u get 8 hours of time and a half
plus u get an extra 8 hours of just straight time
plus im working a double shift
so after my 8th hour i will get double time because its a holiday
plus its suppose to be my day off
and u get 8 extra hours of straight time for working a holiday on ur day off
which tomorrow will be
so just working today and tomorrow
will have me making over 1k

Went to sleep, woke up to text coming into my phone, turned back over and slept some more till about 30 mins ago. No plans since everybody wanted to drink and I already said I wasn’t drinking until the next month. Money saved and no issues with the law
