I didn't really like it...
of course I only read the ending. I just used sparknotes for the rest.

One of my favorite books. Steinbeck is my favorite author, I'll admit I don't read much.

The Grapes of Wrath really is the book that taught me that a story doesn't need to be full of twists or action to be good. Just flat out an incrediblepiece of literature from many perspectives; Personification, Symbolism, and the many different writing techniques used.


Steinbeck's book are middle and high school reading levels, but that's not to say adults can't read them.

yup. gary sinise is the man and underrated.

book is awesome and you don't need to be in 8th grade to appreciate it. honestly i'm surprised they allow it to be taught that young the way thatparents seem to be placing their kids in a bubble and being super politically correct.

I couldn't agree more. OP ignore the ridiculous comments regarding you being late. It is a great book, Steinbach is a great author and thatis all that matters.
