Malcolm is the REAL DEAL!! His work is really amazing! I've already emailed him about doing a Chicago custom on a pair of Bloodlines once I get them for the right $$$. Once they drop to my price level (not stupid low, just a little more) I'm sending him a pair. I may even send him two and do a black/red pair as well. They look amazing!!!

obsidians for sure. blue moon leather is not that great and the ankle collar is really stiff

all leather vs suede/leather - I don't mind suede but prefer all leather AJ1s
black tongue vs white tonight - obsidians look great with white (sail) laces

can't speak to quality as I don't own blue moons
obsidian quality is solid, nothing special. they're a slightly lower cut than most AJ1s

given the price of both at the moment.... obsidians are the easy answer imo
blue moons are cool but not $400+ cool
