Dude here did a awesome job deglazing the UNC to Chicagos... The black/red can look way better if this process was done properly. A fresh pair for 2021...

Custom or replacement? Foxtrot makes replacements for original Jordan 1 tongue tags. Don’t know anyone that does customs, but that could be dope - especially for a gift.

the patent leather breds are extra mehh. they look like “exclusive” jordans i’d find on aliexpress
i had the PL aj1 chicagos back in the day. wore them a few times and quickly sold them. just not my taste and the creasing in them showed up terribly

If the shoe needs a $45 insole to be comfortable enough for you to wear you need to just buy a different pair of shoes.

I usually buy Spenco insoles. It’s around $15 on Amazon, when I buy them. For $45, buy a pair of Vans and wear them. You’ll realize that the Jordan 1s are more comfortable than you think.
