My exact thought's. Plus after wearing a pair of 8's and having that comfort it's to hard to go back to Jordans when the comfort level is no where near the same. I'll keep a few of my retro's but Kobe's are far above them in my eyes

Yea, 8s are just a different monster man. I agree though, some J's are mandatory even though they feel like crap. With that being said, EASILY half of my stash are Kobes. 8s are def one of my favorites. Easily in the top half of his Nike line. IMHO.

IMO all the Barcelonas are ugly, overhyped and over priced. Unless you're a Barcelona soccer fan, no need to care about em.... The VIIs are straight trash.

My thought's to, baseball players can usually get basketball shoes customized with a cleat sole. I think they could do it with the Kobe easily. Might have to attempt on photoshop tonight if it's still peaking my interest.

Kobe 8s are only elites worth copping!  The rest of the designs are just awful!  Just my 1 cent

Looks like I'm copping superheroes and the black gold elites. I'm just gonna stock up on all types of 8s because once you hoop in these it's really hard to do so in anything else.

This is not me bragging just a way of showing how things have changed but I was one of if not the first to rock the 8s at my gym and after a few weeks I had people coming up to me asking how they felt and then before you know it I see them almost anytime I go hoop.

Market all you want but the product will sell itself if its merited meaning the hype built mostly because of the performance, evident by people's (my included) reactions to initial photos and then the changing of their stance when tried on/played in.

Sucks for the 9s, expectations will be through the roof!
