I hope it performs well on the court. I was so let down by the 7s. Nike has to get rid of this system crap! Interesting to see where Nike will go with the colors and materials.
I like what I see so far. Hopefully this shoe will have some great cw's w/ some amazing colorblocking like the 4's and 5's. I'm interested tho...
This is truth - easy for people to hate on the new stuff but wait until that Christmas colorway drops and people will change their tune.
Im not a fan of these off my first impression. These & the 7's just aren't doing it for me. :\ I do like what they did with the Swoosh on the toe for the samples, though.
Potential performance wise, they look solid. Potential casual wear wise, not so much. Can't wait to see the final product.
Loved the IVs and VIs. VIIs were trash. As someone said, the heel-toe transition was very slappy. A very uncomfortable shoe as well. Hopefully the VIIIs are comfortable and perform well. That's all i want.
I hate how all sigs are now looking similar to their predecessors. Lebron 7-10 similar silhouette Kobe 5-8 similar silhouette. Ugh. This might be a couple pair cop just like the VII's...
The swoosh at the toe definitely gives it that sleek fast look. Too bad they played it "safe" with putting it back at the mid foot. The sleeve looks a little more beefed up than the VII sensory cuff so I hope it'll give a better fit around the ankle. I thought they would've used dynamic flywire for sure but i'm open for change. I wonder what exactly engineered mesh is and it's performance benefits Also there is 7 eyelets like the Kobe 4 so I wonder if the cut is going to be more like the 4.
on court = bueno off court = no bueno on court+on court= leave them on the shelf aesthetically speaking of course
I am glad they didn't use the dynamic flywire. I don't think it would have looked good on a Kobe shoe.
