People asking to call a store to see if they have a item in there store when my store is out.
I benefit alot from this so I dont mind it. Funny how I have 3 nearby store numbers on my phone.

You are dead on. I used to work at the Nike Factory Store and I witness this all the time. People coming up to you asking if we sell Reebok

. This is a Nike Store, why would we sell a competitor's product? People think that Factory Stores get new releases for instance I remember when the CDP 11/12 was coming out, the phones was ringing and people asking ifwe're getting them and how many we are getting.

I worked in the footwear department and some days its crazy, especially when it comes to kids. Have you ever had some kids that will go down EVERY isle andpush the shoe boxes all the way back?

I also hated when people use thetry-on socks then have the nerve to put it back inside where they go it, when they should have thrown it away after using it.

"Oh..really? I don't know, my wife said she bought it like this..."

I have so many.

1. People that work in the mall and try so hard to be your friend while your on the job. In my store for hours tryma talk while Im tryna help customers.

2. Thie lady had her son wear the shoes out the store and i seen her. She tried to return them saying that they were a size too small and said she was callingchannel 3 news on my company. I was like "have a great day. good luck calling channel 3 over 85 bucks"

3. We dont give refunds so people come in there hot at me like I made the rules. -_-

4. Cheap customers. make me pull down a jacket look at the price and say naww bruh its good. i can get this same obey jacket at forver 21

this !%++$ came in @ 6....cuz i seen here before i went on my break....i get back...i did my thing for a couple hours...its like 8:45...i call around and askthe other cashiers did they check her out because i didnt see her up here....they like...no

im like

that means she still in this!%++$!!!... FOR ALMOST 3 HOURS!!...soo i do a quick sweep of the upstairs looking for her...i dont see her.....then like 15 min after we close(at 9) mycoworker does another sweep to see if anyone is there...

this !%++$ is laying on the damn beds...my friend was like...man can i help you??? she said no...im just restin

like !%++$ take yo $*+ home and rest!! so...my friend made her come checkout...and this lady had like 8937953 items

price checked all of them andONLY BOUGHT 3!!!!

this is appreciated if its a female and she banging. this is how i smashed this one worker at macys. she was always coming over to watches andflirting with me. she flirted with me about boxing and fighting. im like cool, we can wrestle though at your spot because i dont hit girls. ya know how wrestlesession end with a female, smash session

the lids i used to work at is still missing hats because of me and my coworkers who thought like me. ( a few members on here benifited from that image) teamwork ftw. we would keep customers receipts, take those hats then return them for money back, there was so much stuff we did there on the side to make money. it was a fun run while it lasted, we would smoke and drink in the back of the store, smash females in the back of the store and network with the best of them, i had free food comming my way from panda express, chick fil a, dairy queen, hot dog on a stick, red robin etc.

once i realized the b.s the company pulled and i knew what i could get away with, it was a wrap
tell me about it. uhaul system is so messed up. if you can trust your customer you can basically rent the truck with out doing a contract for itand basically pocket the money. i did this numerous times, basically the customer wanted the truck for like a couple hours. ill be like cool give me 20 andfill up the tank and bring it back by x time. but my hustle was hitches though. whenever i needed an extra 200-250, id just hit a customer and be like pay cashand ill install the hitch and do the wiring for 250 instead of the 400. 9 times out of 10 they agree and i just pocketed 250

we would hotbox in the backof the trucks with the day labors on the corner. do burn outs and donuts in the f150s/sierre pickup trucks. make the trucks have hydrolics. i know my dudestole a 1300 dollar deposit out the safe. there was like 3 siting in there and duke just took one. they was basically asking us to take advantage of the store

I worked at Express. Best things were the hot chicks and the discounts. But retail has scarred me for life. I hate going to the mall now. It's pretty sad.

I work at Best Buy and i get all the !!%@%%! people on a daily basis. I hate people that be questioning what i'm saying. If you don't believe whati'm saying then don't +%*%$% ask me in the first place. I hate cheap people, people that don't speak english then get butthurt cause i don'tspeak there language and on top of that they come up to you just speaking there language maybe, just hoping, you speak there language.

People that ask me if i work here when i have the blue polo on with the best buy patch sewn on to it with my name tag on. Another pet peeve is people gettingupset cause i can't help them right when they ask for help due to me helping someone already, world doesn't revolve around your !!%@%%!, you gottawait. I could go on for days but i'm gonna stop here.

1.No one my age. Pretty much every one there is 40 or so.

So I'm looking to get into retail. I know the wage will be extremely different.

whats worst is when you are clearly helping a customer and another customer just straight interrupts as you are making a sale to help them. like dont you seeme helping this customer.

or the customers that cut other customers. ill let them know straight up, get to the back of the line or go to a different register because i aint going toring you up since you cut all these people. this one black lady was about to fight this one asian lady because she cut her. i didnt catch it because i just gotto work. but the black lady was like 'b you better be lucky i was in a good mood, or i would have checked your ++$' moms said the same thing to thisone lady when we was at michaels. lady cut her, but moms was in a great mood so she let it slide. moms didnt want me to say anything to the lady neitherbecause she didnt want me to embarrass the lady

Worked at Best Buy mobile for 9 months.

It was cool at times, but I worked in DC, and there was OD crackheads coming in everyday trying to get help refilling their virgin mobile phones.

But i met a lot of cool, chill artsy people, also some bad latina chicks, and senators with black cards.

The worst part was loser managers and scheduling.

Best part was $13 hr.

Exact Change is not that important and you are not doing me any favors by doing this.

People who think I have the prices for everything in the store memorized.
If you write a check, please make it fast. Checks hinder my checking speeds and lower my performance scores.

Don't crumple your money, it messes my till up and I will usually take longer to count your change back.

If the light to indicate if I'm open or not is turned off don't come to my line; it means I'm not open.

Checks will get your groceries bagged wrong and your bread smashed.
Don't pay with exact change, I count 10x faster than you.
Not everything is perfect and I didn't mess-up on perfect. So deal with it accordingly.

yo this! i was a courtesy clerk before (bag boy) and i didn't mind the morons that had too much in their carts. pretty much an extra 20 minutes just doing go backs.
now i'm a checker and if i see a wic mf'er coming through the line i tell anyone who comes in my line it'll take a while and go to another line.
they act like they're entitled to wic but all i gotta do is tell they're names to a manager and have em taken off that.

and if you're too stupid to read the price tag i'm not doing anything for you. i'll tell you to take your $+% to the customer service booth with a 20 minute line.
and its ALWAYS gonna be the price tag BELOW the item. not the one above it even if it's blocking the item.

WIC in my state is so smooth. We have it on these Credit Card Joints, just a swipe in the machine and it lists what they can get and if they gotthe right thing. I do have to ring up some out of state ones every now and then; check style WIC is terrible.

Started as a courtesy clerk, went to cashier, now a manager; Dealing with customer complaints is hilarious sometimes. Today it was snowing out, this ladycomplains to me "your parking lot is too icy and slippery, can you fix that"? Me: "No problem, I'll send a bagger to take care of it." I tell a bagger to just hold some icemelt in his hand and walk around the parking lot until she left. smh

I had a dude in his 40's come up to at 11pm and ask if I could cut some prime rib. "Sir it's 11pm and you are asking for a specialty meat cut? Westopped doing custom orders 8 hours ago. Is there anything else I can help you with"?

this really is true though. i kinda feel bad for some of the managers i've worked with at past retail jobs though because they've watched their20's pass them by and have seen employees come and go while their still there in that retail store as the years pass.

if your in school. working retail part time, seriously look at that as what you don't want to be doing, especially if you have one of those "this ismy career" type managers

if you can just chill for a year and a half and collect unemployment while making side under the table money like i've been doing then do that. i'vebeen using unemployment as my way of being a chooser and not a beggar in this job market and i've decided to hold out until i get something that pays meright and that i can benifit with while i finish these final 2 years of school.

4. Foreigners who ask for discount. It's the price that it says on the tag. I'm not giving you a discount.
5. People who ask for other brands. Are you kidding me? You've just walked into a Nike Specialist store. The $@@!%$! Puma's aren't here.
6. People who ask where the damn Footlocker is. It's a two minute walk down the street, find it your $@@!%$! self.
7. People who ask for directions to other places in general. Yo, am I an Information desk? Do you see an I above my door?
8. People who walk in the door and then walk straight back out. What was the point in coming in? Thanks for screwing my conversion rate over.
9. People who rant about the "sweat shops" and the "bad conditions" people who make Nike stuff are made in. What am I going to do about it?Pretty sure machines do a lot of the work now. You're acting like we're not technologically advanced.
10. People who just assume all Nike things are made in China. Yo, check the tag. You'll find it's made all over the damn world.
