So liquid got on my iMac

So as while in my dorm, somehow liquid, not sure what but most likely water was spilled on my macbook. I'm not sure who or how it was done but now all ofsudden my computer doesn't turn on. What should I do? Any advice for experiences with liquid getting into a labtop?

liquid + computer parts is never a good thing...as the components heat up, corrosion will occur.
Do you know how much liquid? if you are super paranoid, i would suggest either taking it apart to investigate the possible damage OR taking it to a computerrepair store for them to investigate.
if you can get it apart, and you have gotten to it in time, use canned air to blow the liquid off the components, then let it dry
