There was an announcement.
A new season is coming on HBO Max. This was before the passing of John Witherspoon and covid. So maybe next year.

HBO Max ordered more episodes. Aaron Mcgruder is back. They are apparently producing the episodes now, no word on a premiere date. Probably will be a while due to covid.
