The Official NBA Thread: PLAYOFFS

Hamstrung by an offensive system that failed to protect his weaknesses cough Doc Cough

not once in the 3 years did doc make a change or help him

they aint gonnna like this one

but great video and breakdown thanks for posting

I’ve watched this video and the reasons for why he was not as good in the playoffs were the ones we already know:
  • Injuries
  • Better game plan against him
  • Bad coach and team make up
What was cool about this video were the differences for this year. Why he’s smarter, better positioned to succeed etc…

The only thing holding him back are his knees

Also, comparing the spacing between this year and the Ben years was eye opening. Having Thybulle and Simmons occupying the same area in the paint was laughable

Poole and Kuz this Summer off the court

The Grizz really did find themselves a gem.

Gonna be a fascinating team next season when Ja's back at 100%

Hope GG doesn't find himself in the position that Bones did in Denver. Got a lot of freedom his rookie year, then reinforcements returned the following year, didn't take it well, got banished to the bench and eventually traded away.

sixers were legit playing 3v5 lol

and people wonder why his scoring dropped after he would get doubled

It was an interesting video breakdown changing where the double came from to confuse Embiid.

I’m sure Nurse and Embiid went through a ton of videos and scenarios to know how to play the double as he’s really improved his decision making this year, that should translate well in the playoffs.
