i cant seem to make myself pay for the LTE functionality since i dont have a use for it outside of home so i just turn it off.
X2.. My iMac barely gets any use now lol.

I use the HP Touch Pad for everything since my desktop runs like crap. I got my money's worth out of it. I need to run Android on it. Thanks for that link.

got a hp touchpad. surfing the net, reading books, watching movies. usually use it when im lying on the couch or bed. have trouble connecting the usb to the comp, it doesnt recognize it. changed chargers and wires and still cant get it to usb mode. cant even transfer files, unless i go to bluetooth mode :smh:

Anyone else self conscious of the material they're reading while riding the train or bus? Sometime I have to read some pretty honest statistical research, and sometimes it's in large bold titles.

Simple, get a privacy shield/filter.

No one will be able to peep what you're reading unless they match where your eyes are at.

Get you public porn watching on, you're welcome.

lol..looks like your doing some marketing research

20-25 year old, professional, and I utilize my ipad for browsing and FaceTime with my girl. :D

I have the Wifi iPad 3, would it have been really worth it to get the 4G LTE. Only complaint I have is that there is no flash on my iPad. I really enjoy browsing the internet, reading books, and other general purpose stuff. Just like everyone else, I really get the most out of it when I go to the bathroom with Netflix and the such.

Having an iPad/tablet is really convenient, though I didn't really need it. It was a gift. Also, I fall into the 18-24 range.

If I was ... Niketalk is way too diverse and unpredictable, a control group on Niketalk would be inconclusive and a waste of time. I see now how clinical my questions sound but they are mere Freudian slips of a 25+ workaholic.

@Je Ne Sais Quoi, those are cool but some of them are crappy and end up interfering with the touch sensors of the device. It just devalues your tablet IMO.

I hear the 3M one is good in that department, but I wouldn't know because I'm usually on NT and don't care if the next seat is enjoying the Booty Thread with me.

I have an iPad 3 and I use it mainly for digital comics and Flipboard. Basically its my new bathroom buddy. lol

Surf the web, Netflix, videos, music, and games. Hoping this iPad holds up well and comes to use during the school year.

This, I doubt anyone does serious work on a tablet/pad right now it just doesn't have the capabilities to be taken serious.
I beg to differ, Word/Excel/Powerpoint, bluetooth keyboard, mouse, mini USB flash drives most people who use PC's or Macs for work only need it for documents and minor word processing and spreadsheets.

Almost exclusively for BS

False. You ever use LogMeIn? I can access my work desktop/laptop/fileserver all through logmein on both my iPad and Nexus 7. Once remoted in, I can do anything I need to do on the fly on my tablet. It's such a convenience to carry around an iPad/Nexus 7 instead of my laptop. I wonder how many of y'all have real jobs in the field that would actually utilize a tablet to it's fullest potential...

18-24.

I use it primarily for reading, whether it be for school or in my leisure.

Some books required for class are sometimes free on Amazon, so I just download them, and use it in class.

Some books I look forward to are only released as e-books at times, like Sam Harris's last two books.
