Whats up with Asians and Karaoke?

There was an article in a recent edition of Conde Naste of karaoke etiquette for businessmen on trips to China.

I've noticed it has a particularly large following in Korean culture, perhaps moreso than all of the other ones.

But anyways, yea my friend back in elementary school was Korean and whenever he had a birthday party it was crackin. Kids outside in the pool and the olderfolks inside singing. I went with my Flip friend to a karoake bar and it was fun as hell. Like somebody else said though, I couldnt see myself doingit sober.
