Fakes usually have more transparent outsoles so they're probably legit. But I'd ask for more pics.

They're legit. Fakes of these are really obvious. Among other things: Carbon fiber panel looks legit. Fakes usually have a very distinct contrast between the two different thread colors or the panel is just one solid color. Graphics on fakes are usually on opposite feet. "Witness" on pull tab...

They're legit just super beat.

Not diggin at the moment. I can just imagine all the cheesy cws they're gunna slap on these. Hopefully my pessimism just stems from my personal disappointment with the Xs.

And a short tongue isn't anything to worry about as far as authenticity goes. They can be cut differently. One of the tongues on my bangs is slightly crooked.

I have way more Vs and VIs than IXs and Xs. You just get more bang for your buck when copping multiple CWs of the Vs and VIs because they weren't afraid to be creative with the materials they used. As far as VIs go, you can cop Akrons, MVPs, Big Apples, and Yanks and the material of the upper...

THIS. To say everybody could get even most of the IXs on discount is dumb. You'd have to have either a hookup or an unusual location/low-key spot. Takes more than just 'patience.' Xs are a different story though.

I miss the simple, yet still creatively put-together cws. Lebrons school cws in his early shoes were so on point: SVSM, CTK, OSU, Akron. Now any cws with any thought put into them look like dubstep concerts or traffic cones.
