Better email account: yahoo or gmail

Lately, I've been hearing yahoo is a better email account that gmail. I have gmail, but starting to think of switching to yahoo.

Any opinions?

Gmail is more streamline and basic. Yahoo sucks, but I still use the new yahoo.

i set up yahoo once and got TONS of spam. i've never gotten any spam from gmail. i don't know if it's because i signed up for something or what,but the difference is huge.
