Hawley's style has blossomed. I'm noticing hints of QT and Wes Anderson.

The Jon Hamm narration was a nice touch.

Interpretive club dancing was all him though.

Pretty dope premiere.

its just as weird and confusing as the first season

if any shows need one of those "talking ____" show afterwards, this is it

they kind explain what the F people just saw

I felt they explained everything nicely and clearly.

They just dressed it up.

The status quo of the mutants and the division, status of the Shadow King, part of where Legion went at the end of s1, and the overall goal of this season.

so he was in the sphere and then his chick came from the future to tell him to help the shadowking find his body?

eventually they got to the some of the point but they took you on a ride and sometimes I am not even sure what's real and which are not

like it seems like every time his chicks in the scene that he is dreaming

i think that was the shadow king manipulating him again

cuz they showed that creature of delusion that ate the chicks crawling towards his bed

then he had the vision of the gf

so i think the shadow king found a way back into his mind

I assume the sphere was sent from the future by his gf so she could send that message/communicate with him to tell what he would have to do.

Of course it doesn't explain where he was most of the year.

Well a lot of their interactions do occur in their minds.

Its how they were able to have sex without her power switching their bodies.
