Now that I think of it I don't think I've ever seen a successful roommate story
Especially the ones that involve "best friends".
Don't mean to hi-jack a thread but how many y'all are pushing your budget by living in a nice apartment complex?
Thinking about moving inside the city I work in. It's a long a commute everyday to and from work. Problem is , the area that my job is located in is terrible. The area I'm looking at has nice apartments but will take up 50% of my monthly income. (utilities included). It's near downtown Dallas. I like it. I feel MOTIVATED when I'm in that area. Seeing these North Dallas cats rollin' up in their 'Rarri's and Rovas gets me hyped.
and the girls
I think I rather pay more to live in a safer neighborhood. I'd hate to have my car jacked or have loud neighbors.
You from the Dallas area ? Where you at now?
Uptown? Looked into it but I couldn't see myself living in that area. Way too pretentious and materialistic for my taste. That's the home of the $30K millionaire. A lot of folks over there are just trying to stunt on each other..just wasn't me.
I found a spot dead in the middle of the "hipster/laid back" neighborhood in Dallas for a decent price. I'll be less than 100 feet away from coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, etc. and the people in the area are really down to earth.
Where at?
Left downtown... I'm up in the burbs now...
All I see is old white women jogging.
