The 20 Mistakes You Don't Want To Make in Your 20's (good read imo)

Someone got roasted for taking it a little to seriously.

In general, I think living by a strict code makes you more of a robot than a person, because life is more gray than black and white.

exactly. don't eem care about the list.

skimmed through it. had some good stuff. some obvious stuff. some ridiculously stupid stuff.

either way, none of us are the same and when you start trying to follow steps for life....it's just stupid.

just be smart/wise and assess every situation. there's no blueprint for anything.

Read the whole article, I needed this. I've been thinking about letting go of some of my old friends that I've known since elementary that always have something negative to say. Plus I've been starting to hang around a new group of people that have the same goals in life as me and we tend to encourage each other so yea. OP you've been repped.

safe sex = anal?? wtf

and promoting escorts at the same damn time? :rolleyes :smh:

in theory the escorts make sense, but theory won't help you at the clinic :smh:

Meh....not really feeling the list.

I also don't belong to the audience its catered to so I guess thats some of why.

1. Karma doesn't exist.
2. Duh
3. Yes, because no one ever in the history of butt sex has ever caught anything from it
4. I was unaware that school loans were a quick buck. I'd argue that everyone should run their bank account out once to appreciate what it means to be flat broke.
6. Wow...just...wow...This is such bad advice I can't even think of where to begin. Sounds like homie got dumped in the 9th grade and hasn't recovered.
9. It's not my responsibility to do **** for anyone else. Be a man or a woman on your own two damn feet, or **** off and die. I don't really care either way.
10. I found my calling in the footpath of another, but I see the path a little different than he did. So it is not the same journey. Everything else in this is for the most part just pretentious crap.
11. Duh
12. Yeah, okay. I should just be miserable never hunting or fishing so I can be like some ******* that built some business that no one will remember in a century. Who gives a ****? Hey here's an idea enjoy your life at the level you want to. Personally I don't want to run my own business, I no interest in greatness. Both come at a price I don't want to pay. I'll stick with mediocre life and happy, taking ******g time off to do the things I love with those I love.
14. This one allow doesn't work with 12, 5, 6, and 7
15. I'd argue that you should balance your wants and your needs, and what exactly that balance is will differ from person to person.
16. I doubt anyone gets through their 20s without making at least one stupid decision. The trick is to learn from them.
19. There is no time to fall in love. If you do in your 20s...great, if not so what? Oh no, it might make you boring to some lame out there with his escort at work because he never takes time off! Live your own damn life, and if the other person makes you happy and isn't holding you back in a way that you're not willing to sacrifice then let it ride...or don't it's your life to do with as you please.
20. Sometimes you'll need to work for money to pay for the bills while you work towards your dream. Dreams are great and all, but reality is a little more immediate. Work towards a goal, but not at the cost of the here and now.

some of the advice is legit.

but the assumption that people follow rules to the T like that, sounds like it would burn people out.

the thing that stood out to me though is that it sounds like it's geared towards men.

it was an ok list.
