Maybe it's just me, but I dont call my Altima a Alt or if I had a Silvia, I wouldnt call it a Sil/Silv. Maxima works.

I dunno. lots of people abbreviate cars
Lex, Bimmer, G, Benz.. etc

My parents paid 4700. It only has 97k miles, but isn't very well equipped. No leather, no sunroof, no premium audio(doesnt matter, as I was putting a system in this car anyway). And has a nasty dent on the rear bumper(which will be getting fixed VERY soon). Even with all that, this car is STILL

to me. I've never had a car with this much power so it takes me off guard sometimes and I end up chirping the tires pretty bad.

i love my 96 maxima. i literally do not enjoy drivin any other i car i feel uncomfortable. im pretty sure the interior was designed specifically for me to drive it

I have an altima but my moms got an 06 maxima that I drive pretty often. It picks up with so much ease compared to my altima it's effortless. I love drivin that car.

I have a 92 SE 5 speed I use for work (courier/process server). I'm sitting in it right now on stand-by. Got it in October 08 and have never washed it or cleaned the interior. Runs great but I do need to do breaks and get new injectors soon. I was surprised how quick it was when I first drove it.

My first two cars were Maxima's....2000 Pearl White SE then I graduated to a 2003 Gold SE.

Now that I know how to drive standard, I'm curious how a manual Max rides. I'm done with Nissan tho', got burnt back in the day because I couldn't really afford either car at the time. Now I'm making BMW/Lexus money but I'm comfortable pushing hoopty's now.

Good to see the Maxima love on here, I was looking for a 98-02 Accord V6(not the smartest idea). Then when I came home last weekend my parents surprised me with my maxima.
