I know that i still open boxes just to smell that fresh new shoe scent. When i stayed with my pops i used to go into my closet, close the door and just staythere for awhile because it smelled like i was in my own FootLocker or something. Come to think about it i was because i basically closed myself in the closetwith over 100+ pairs of shoes. Forgive me if you think i am weird, i just love that new shoe smell.

I was smelling a pair of brand new air jordans that i received in the mail yesterday every few hours because of that new shoe smell.

That is so the truth about having more pairs of shoes then clothing, its been this way for years with me and i would rather have a new pair of shoes overclothing majority of the time. Now that i am getting older that is changing though, im keeping my shoes however i have to purchase way more clothing than whati normally do. Ima start purchasing mad clothing next month.

We all do different things that can definitely add up to us being shoe addicts, Air Jordans are like crack and i guess Gentry is the Air Jordan Druglord lol.

Im loving all of the responses well, maybe most, except for the whole penis into jordan thingy. Im not doing that lol however the watching porn and smellingyour jordans at the same time comment (if i am not mistaken) was very priceless, that was too funny!

Man! I have WAY more J's then clothes.. BUT... I have come to notice my OWN particular trend... It's blue jeans with a WHITE OR BLACK TEE .. Longsleeve if it's cold.. short sleeve if its hot... OR.. a Jordan jacket/warm-up/shirt/whatever else.. with the matching shoes and jeans...
Just THAT simple.. If I don't have the matching top for the J's.. white or black tee it is.. and besides.. most of the time.. people don't realizewhat shirt you have on.. when they see your shoes ANYWAYS!!! haha

bring a pair of sandels in the whip just in case.
always put on a new pair of socks when i unds.
dont let my girl know im coppin'em till weeks later.
change color of the laces.. i always do this.
pre plan my money like 3 months in advance for certain shoe releases.
wallpaper the shoe i wanna bring back in rotation

A lot seems to be just general shoe collecting and personality traits.

For a "jordan" collector:

YOU NEVER SWAP or CHANGE the OG laces for Js. It's against the 'code', the 'jordan brand'. Swapping laces for any other shoe like the SBsare acceptable.
But changing laces on Jordan is a big no no.

Neon Laces on Black 3s = Death Penalty and Joke of the century.
